C57 HYDROPHONE SYSTEM

The Cetacean Research™ C57 series Hydrophones is a preamplified high sensitivity hydrophone. It is specifically designed for outstanding sensitivity performance through high ultrasonic frequencies while maintaining the lowest self noise and best sensitivity possible. 

Battery boxes are rated NEMA-4X water resistant. Standard signal connection for Cetacean Research™ C57 hydrophones is through a watertight female BNC connector with gold center contact. The hydrophones are powered by one 9V battery (not included).

The removable cable is specifically designed with a special low noise configuration and has a durable waterblocked polyurethane jacket for prolonged exposure to underwater saltwater conditions. It is more flexible than other cables on the market in order to maintain optimum usability. The cable is integrally molded to a 7,000m depth rated underwater connector. Standard length is 15m and 30m, or custom lengths are available upon request.
